According to Tobias Diekershoff, on Mon, 21 May 2001 the word on the street was...

Not me, but it shouldn't be too hard. It does depend on which model
Corvette your player wants, though -- 1950s ones are rather popular these
days, but in the 2060s perhaps the 2015 model is the most sought-after
Corvette ever. You can just build any of them as a car with a gasoline
engine and some options, I would imagine; all you really need is some
performance data to base your SR game stats on. If you want to be really
accurate you could look up things like trunk space to figure out how much
CF it should have, but that's going overly-detailed, IMHO.

Anyway, a 1997 Corvette (the only one I have stats for without looking
far) has a top speed of 254 km/h -- that's an SR speed of 212, which would
cause me to give it a Speed rating of 141. It does 0 to 100 in 5.0
seconds, but translating this accurately to SR may be a bit more difficult;
I'd just go for (near-)max Acceleration rather than trying to truly convert
it. Fuel capacity is 76 liters, with a fuel consumption of 12.5 km/l (at 90
km/h), and you can just mess with design options until you get those values.

Quicky way to do it I'd say would be to give him a Eurocar stats and price and call it a
Corvette. Otherwise if you have the time, ambition, and Rigger 2/3...go ahead and build
one.

Or if for some reason maybe you don't like this player, design a CHEVette! ::evil GM
grin::

And if you were truely an evil GM you would design a Corvair :-)
