A few years ago, there was a fairly comprehensive list of all the
shadownrun equipment going around. It included all the prices for
common household goods. Can someone please point me to a site where
the list is kept (FTP preferably) ;)

Okay, now for a more interesting point. It is taken that
astrally projecting individuals can go though anything that is not
currently living or not the earth itself. However, here is a
situation. A certain target of a vampires wrath decides that in order
to hide himself the best that he can do (apart from other more
violent measures) is to build a wooden box that is totally sealed (ie
no gap is big enough for the vampire to slip through or even look
through due to the double laying. Question: with the vampires
legendary vunerability to wood, would he be able to project through
the wood in order to see the character (and hence chuck spells at him
from astral)?

Thanks
Odd

You mean the Ultimate Shadowrun Equipment List (I believe that's what
Wordman's list was called, anyway)... There's an update (not yet quite
finished) in the works at http://www.ergo.uni-bremen.de/~protech. You'll
have to browse around a bit, as I don't know the exact URL.

Don't know that it contains any "houshold" items but I have a full list
of Shadowrun stuff by <Wordman lward@****.harvard.edu>, called the
Shadowrun Ultimate Equipment list can't remember where I downloaded it
from though. It does appear to cover the entire Shadowrun equipment
base. It's about 90K pkzipped, I could mail it to you if you want it.
Unless someone else here knows where you can get it.

Vampires per se don't have a vulnerability to wood, their hearts do :)
So, conceivably the vampire could project through the wood, though
casting spells from astral to mundane is not possible without a link.
However, once the vampire knows the character is in the box, What's to
stop him putting a match to it :)

I would say *no*, however, it depends if the character has any spell
locks or suchlike on him, that have a permanent connection to the
Astral, if they do, it won't make any difference if he/she's in a wooden
box, or a lead lined bomb shelter. Ground a fireball, and he/she's
barbecue.
