So is there a list of critters just for flavor? Like the metapedes and rock
worms? (I think the novopossum listing mentions them).

Anyone have awakened squirrels, chipmunks, insects, etc. in their games?

Just mentioning some of these things help remind players it really is a
different world.

I think there have been plenty of "Awakened Insects" in Shadowrun
already. ;)

If an attractive young couple enters my realm, I will carefully
monitor their activities. If I find they are happy and
affectionate, I will ignore them. However if circumstance have
forced them together against their will and they spend all their
time bickering and criticizing each other except during the
intermittent occasions when they are saving each others' lives
at which point there are hints of sexual tension, I will
immediately order their execution.

more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves, they
answered to another name, because if another discovered their real name,
it could be used against them.

I think he's looking more for things that he can eat than will try to eat him. :)

One that really threw some of my gammers was Awakened Guard Sheep. They were
attacking an aztechnology compound and were heading accross the lawn when
tey saw the sheep.

Powers
Complusion (Either to protect the sheep, or to touch them)
Paralyzing touch
Confusion
Concealment

The critters never attacked any one or did anything proactive, but they
learned to fear those sheep. All the guards had to do was either pick up
their uncomcious bodies, or tranq. them while they were busy standing guard
over the "Cute and helpless lil sheep"
