I never thought that I'd say this, but please kill this thread. It is no
longer generating anything of interest -- merely a roundabout debate that
has given up providing anything useful in terms of information or
commentary.

I would have just sent this off to a GridSec person, but I don't really know
who they are offhand, and I'm too lazy to go look them up at the moment.

Thank you for your time, and I now return you to your regularly scheduled,
utterly pointless debate.
