Actually, I have. But then, I borrowed vast chunks of Zelazny's "A Night in
the Lonesome October" for my California Gypsy game, so the involvement of
the Great Old Ones was inevitable.

Well, as far as I'm concerned it's The Big C and Dr. Herbert West
again.

Ancient cultures believed that names held great power, personal names
more so and they were guarded very closely. To protect themselves, they
answered to another name, because if another discovered their real name,
it could be used against them.
History repeats itself.

I use a lot of the Call of Cthulhu adventures in my SR game (converted
ofcourse).
Trail of Yig, Resection of Time (the current game) Cracked and Crooked
Manse, plus a few more lined up.
For translating into SR terms, I've not done a direct Cthulhu, though an
evil spirit (Horrible even :-) was summoned into the Animatronic Cthulhu
at the theme town Arkham (after the players blew up Arkham Mass, they had
to move the theme town to Seattle, now, half the group lives in Arkham
Sea-Tac, having to wear 20's clothing all the time, and driving around in
reproduction electric Model-A's)
Deep Ones have been shown, seeming to me some kind of mutant shark from
deep below the ocean.
Mi-Go are strangely altered Beetle's
Ithaqua is just a really big Wendigo, who was working with a nosferatu
that called himself "the Black Man" (the avatar of Nyarlothotep)
Thats it for now, though serpent men would obviously be T'Skrang.

Yep. Worked really well.

We thought the "Horrors" were sort of lame so we made them the Outer
Gods and the Great Old Ones :) Bang, Cthulhupunk...

Well, one of the neo-punk bands that regularly appears on-stage at the BKK is
called, "Hastur, Hastur, Hastur!" ;-)

Granted, not a major Lovecraftian theme, but it's a 'nod' to H.P. none the less.
