Infidel!! Thou must not speak nok of the Eldar Gods like this!!

No Cthulu is part of Lovecraft's mythos. "He" is one of the Eldar Gods
who (which??) came to earth millions and millions of years ago. Try
making a search for "call of cthulu" on your favourite
search-engine. There you'll find more pages describing more accurate
than what I can do here anyways. Or borrow the rpg "Call of Cthulu" by
Chaosium.

Cthulu is in his true form something like 100foot high and weighs
100tons. He has the body of a fat/bloated man with wings. His head
resembles an octupus (well, a mindflayer from ad&d are closer). He's
immortal and if you should kill him he'll just come back. Hence the old
"joke" about nuking Cthulu just to have him returning. This time able to
read in darkness O;-)

Actually Cthulu is also running for president O;-) see.

Spelled Cthulhu with a second H. And yes I am getting ready to throw
my third Cthulhu for President party this October. If anyone is in the
Charlotte area at the time and has a strong enough constitution is
welcome to attend. Bobbing for Babies, the most disgusting drink contest,
King of the Ditch 3: Musical Moshpit, Porno Bingo, and the horrors of
Karoke as well as other games will be had.

Hmmm, little of Shadowrun in my post except about me, Oh well....

Uhm... technically, Cthulhu (Ia! Ia! Cthulhu Fhtagn!) is a Great Old One,
*not* an Elder God. The Elder Gods exiled Great Cthulhu (Ia!) and his
brothers, and when the stars are right, our dread lord and master will rise
from R'lyeh to create the universe anew! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

And he certainly isn't one of those panty-waist *Eldar* gods worshipped by
those degenerate elf-posers in Warhammer 40,000. Great Cthulhu (Ia!) would
start off with a couple of Slaanesh canapes and follow it up with a full
helping of Tzeentch wings in Nurgle sauce. With a side of Khorne dogs, of
course.

And then for afters he'd devour a couple of civilizations while his faithful
(Ia! Ia!) dance to the tune of Azathoth's little pipers.

Why vote for the lesser evil? Cthulhu in 2000!

Aha, but if you were exiled would you not still be a human??
O.k. so i forgot about this, if Cthulhu wants revenge he'll probably do
it himself O;-)

I never tried to imply that!! (Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle and Khorne are
chaos gods... Khaensha Mensha Khaine or something like that is the
leftover of the Eldar gods)

Actually you should see this nomination kit O;-) Hillarious.

Ah, he's not so tough. After all, they drove a steamer through his head.
Sure, he came back, but his ego will never be the same again :?)

Someone tied in Cthulu with Shadowrun, didn't they? Care to share the
details again?

The above URL gives stats for Cthulhu in Shadowrun numbers. Some other
creatures from the mythos is also present there, though I can't remember
which.

I know of one more but "unfortunately" it is in Danish so..

Thank you Peter, I was going to mention it myself, but the english version
is still under construction.

Try the Society(?!) section of the Shadowrun Archive, there is a load of
stats for them in English there.

I'm sure Nodens is a little peeved by that mistake...

Yeah, Greg has been making a few thou extra every election cycle with the
Elder Party gimmic. My favorite secondary candidate is Mr. Smiley, probably
one of the more subtle in-jokes.

I just want to weigh in as one of those lazy GMs who finds the CoC
adventures to be the most well-written series in the FRP hobby, and who thus
will be willing to use one as the basis for any game he runs, in any system.
BTW, you don't have to have the stats for any of the monsters particularly,
most of what you actually encounter is (meta?)human trash of various
stripes. Smart investigators will want to solve the problem presented
without getting too near the monsters, which are deadly and indestructable,
after all. --Anders

Yeah, teh CoC adventures are great.
Or at least most of them, some are downright bleh, but that is true of
all systems.
I have used a lot of the adventures in Shadowrun lately, and had
attempted to get a game of Hunter; The Reckoning going using the CoC
setting.
