Just a few questions for anyone who can/will/would like to respond:

1) Anyone out there ever run or are currently running a character with a
Tactical Computer (Shadowtech, p 53)? That loss of Essence is a
killer...is it worth it?

2) When I started reading posts on this list, I saw a lot of ETalk
concering information contained in Tir Tairngire, but I've seen no
refrences to "Corporate Shadowfiles." Opinions, anyone?

More later...

In a word, yes.
Despite having to dish out 4.0 of your essence (more if you want all the nifty
keeno stuff to add on to it, like good cyber eyes, a smartlink, orientation
cop, and so forth). Given that you get a level one computer, you end up with
like a level 12 computer in the end. Thats 12 dice to roll (correct me if Im
wrong, havent got shadowtech with me today), and each success is a bonus dice
to hit the target. Give yourself some nifty bioware (person im thinking of
got synaptic accelrators for the initative, cerebral booster (so he could
track more targets), ortho ect ect ad nauseam) and your positively unholy.
This guy was doing one shot kills all over the place. Liked to carry around
the multiple use combat gun (you know, the one that you can stick all kinds of
different barrels on and such). *shudder*
