3. Cyber-eyes can hold .5 capacity of cyberware without additional
essence loss. If you pack 'em with Betaware do you think you could
get more for you .5 capacity or the .5 capacity is more of a size
restriction?

The way I've played it is that if you pack 'em with Betaware you can fit more
in. I guess that sorta a house rule because it doesn't sayu anywhere in the
book how you should do it. Well... that's how I do it... oh yeah... if you
happen to go over in essence cost, I play it that you only have to pay the left
over essence, not the whole cost for the item.

What happens, though, if you buy Beta cybereyes, and then pack them with
betaware? How much essence?

and on a similar note: can you put different items in each cybereye?

also, is the book cost (SR1 OR 2) for cybereyes for each one, or both?
(cost & essence)

Thanx in advance

The way I see it, if you get Beta cybereyes, you can still only put .5 essence
in them. If the stuff in them is Beta, then you can put more in due to the
reduced essence cost. The stats for cybereyes is for two. You must put the
same things in both cybereyes.

All this, IMHO...

Heh.. good question. Actually I created an Elven Assassin named
One Eye Jack. Was into Sniper Rifles and left as a calling card
a Monofilament Shuriken in the shape of a playing card. He had
one cyber-eye with Mag 3 for targeting.

Then I read in the Basic Rules Book that you cannot have only
one cyber-eye. So basically I decided to have 2 different
eyes put in: one cosmetic replacement that looked normal
and one Chiba reflective that he wears a patch over...
So much for the rules...
