>>> a limb that isn't designed to be cybernetically controlled?
Ah, the possibilities ...
Surveillance:
A white noise generator. An ECM generator. A parabolic microphone. A laser
microphone. A microbug dispenser. A low light/thermal camera. A chemical
analyzer. A spectrophotometer. A radiation counter. A radiation "duster". A
micropulse radar. A Lone Star spec microwave tag scanner. A remote
"bouncing eyeball" camera.
General: A sequencer. A maglock passkey. A stealth grapple line. A memory
plastic "crowbar". An autonomic medikit (mounted near the cyberware/flesh
interface). An expert system in Electronics/Vehicle B/R/anything. A pocket
secretary. A datalibrary. A smoke/chaff generator.
And of course, if you desire to be crude, you can mount weapon systems as
well. My personal choice would be an Ares MP Laser III for a mere 120,000;
which is far less than a silly gyromount arm for 260,000 with a mere three
points of recoil compensation. No recoil compensation needed for a laser,
dont'cha know? Also doubles as a laser designator in a pinch in low power
mode. No messy clips, no cordite to clean, just swap batteries.

P.S. For those on the WWW, my home pages have moved. I've put redirector
links in its original place, but please contact me if you are unable to
find my new site. If you're interested in finding it, of course. ;-)
