Ok, let me tell you what a player tried to pass on me once. (Note, this
isn't MY idea...) He came to the conclusion that if you have both legs
replaced there's nothing saying that you have to replace them with human
legs, or indeed a torso.

So, he wanted to have a human upper torso, and a "cyber-centaur" lower body
frame. He even tried to con me into letting him get a better quickness bonus
for it.

Admittedly, I've come up with some warped ideas. But I couldn't let him do
this one. (I wanted some solid stats first, which he hasn't come up with
yet...)

Some morning humor.

Kid Stealth, one of the game designers' characters, has
velociraptor type legs with a dew-claw and backwards knees. He's also
about .5 meters taller.

Urm, I think that Kid Stealth is Mr. Stackpole's character actually. The
Kid appears, for the first time, in "Will it help if we say we're sorry"
by M. Stackpole, in the "Into the Shadows" book.

But the legs are wiz for streetfights. Pitiful for stealth, but I bet
the Kid uses a style like unto Tae Kwon Do. I can just visualize a
Dragon Stamp kick with that foot. Yeeeeouch!

Tyger,
Cyber-centauar??????
Well it is different. Perhaps you could give it to the player, but only
with some serious side effects.( mmmm, thinking of the corp he ran away
from, because you know the tech required some serious robotics and
resorces. mmmmmm, who is that over there.. overwhere...must have been
your imagination, DUCK!!!!) :-)

Yep, that's what he wanted...

Yep, that's right.

Not to mention taking stairs (ok, so they can do stairs, but it's tough),
blowing ALL stealth, walking on wet pavement (a pain at best), and this thing
with, err, umm, how would they go to the bathroom? (nevermind...)

Come to think of it, performing hand to hand would be fun. Sweeps, throws,
and knockdowns are almost flat out. Strikes woould work. (A 2 hoof kick
from behind? ICK!)

But running away form a corp... Hmm... I gotta put that into Shadowfurry...
:)

I liked the dino-legs bit. I wanna know where it came from (what rules?)
