Do the new editions of Cyberpirates solve any of the puzzles, or do you have
to wait for the 'History' book that comes out next year? For instance, did
Masaru win the Philippine election of 2057? Corp Download makes it sound
like he did, but I could have misread. Or who won the Kahuna war- the best
magician in the carib got a chunk of orichalcum(sp?)? Both of these were to
have occurred before 2060, but I have yet to discover any source that tells
what exactly happened. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Kismet

There aren't "new editions" of Cyberpirates that I'm
aware of. For the updated info, you have to check the
newer books. If it doesn't say it somewhere in Corp
Download, then there's no official answer yet. As far
as Masaru, I don't know and currently don't care. As
far as the Voudoun (Voodoo) Wars (btw, Kismet, Kahuna
is Hawaiian (or Pacific Islander or something like
that), Houngan is a practitioner of voodoo), well, I
do care.

If you read Cyberpirates, though, it says that the
Draco Foundation was going to award the clippings on
the Head Houngan on 31st December, 2060. If there
wasn't a clear winner by then, the "competition" would
keep going. I think FASA did that for the convenience
of people like me. My new campaign is set in 2061, so
I've just said that there wasn't a winner and the wars
are just starting to heat up again. So my players get
to have all the fun of becoming embroiled in the wars
(if they want). Isn't that good news, guys? :)
