Regarding dodger, magic deckers, etc- I have been on a one decker crusade to
revive this in our campaign. With reflex augmentors, wires, cerebral boost
and math coproccesor, I got a starting deckers hack pool (for program carriers
only) up to 25, which meens I can roll 5 dice with any program in the book.
Not a powerhouse, but an excellent backup decker, and a good samurai/techie.
another idea is splitting the hacking pool to create multiple flygrams- run a
ratting 4 and a rating 3 at the same time (4x4 + 3x3 = 25). Or put programs
onto skill chips and slot them- after all, your nerveous system is the mpcp.
Oh, and a trauma damper will give you one much needed level of hardening. A
pain editor, adrenal booster, or magic could raise will if your into combat.
I suggest stealth, myself, sice flygrams won't crash much IC. Oh, and I let
program carries count as auto execute up to INT level, like I/O does. I still
am debating how many dice you need for staged attack programs.
anyhow, this is an excerpt from past conversation
