completely replaces the human analog. In some cases (I.e., arms) this is
obviously true, but in others, I believe it is possible that the cyber
exists next to the regular analog and works instead of it. However, if it
ceases to function, I the natuarl one kicks back in. Take an air filter,
for example. If it "stops working" does that mean the person can't breathe,
or just that it won't filter anymore? These things have warranties, and I
believe that where possible, doctors would elect to maintain a backup
system, leaving the natuarl item in place in case something went wrong.
