Subject: Damage codes for my system

Hi.

Here are some ideas about the damage codes for the new damage system I've
posted. I hope I didn't mess it up, 'cause I didn't do any real
numbercrunshing...

Note:
-DBCs are against characters and other living beings
-DBV are against vehicles (1DBV=-BC)
-DBN are against naval vessels (see cyberpirates) (1DBN=%DBV=PDBC)

BF and FA: When a weapon is fired in BF or FA mode, you add the number of
bullets to the DBs, both for the armor test and the actual damage.
Note: When combined with a different FA-rule (e.g. the "test after every
three rounds"-model) this can make FA-fire very deadly.

Charakter size weapons:

hold-out: 1DBC
LP: 1-2DBC
HP: 3-4DBC (maybe 5 for the Superwarhawk)
SMG: 3-4DBC (Yup, that's just what the HPs do)
Shotgun: 8-10DBC (sawn off Remington 990: 6DBC)
AR: 6-8DBC
Sniper: 12-16DBC (Note: The Berret 121 is a vehicular weapon)
Sport: 8DBC-11DBC
LMG: 6-10DBC

Vehicular weapons:
MMG: 4-5DBV
HMG: 6-8DBV
AC: 12-14DBV (12 for the PAC, 14 for the Vigilant)
GL: 5DBV
Missile: 10-12DBV
Ballista: 10DBV
Mortar: 12DBV-14DBV

Sorry, I'll get my R2 back on sunday and Cyberpirates will be here
tomorrow, so I can't give you damage codes from these...

What do you think?
