Your character settled part of the problem for you. The garrot in the
sword handle would be displaced or would displace the dagger. As for the
orcriculim (spelling??) modifier, I would have him make the garrot itself
out of the orcriculm (sp??). Or even easier, tell him you will not let him
do it because you think it would disrupte game balance. Or let him make it
and then make something as big or bigger than he and kick his ass.
