Heh! Sorry, skint = broke, no money etc. But then I realised when I went
to America this Summer how many common words you don't know about eg loo
= toilet, bin = garbage can etc

I totally agree. We should be able to speak OUR version of English which is

Us Brits should stick together.
How about compiling a Brit >> American dictionary. I think I know someone
who could give us a good start.
