Actually, shasta cola is not defunct and can still be found in cheaper food
stores here in CA.

Sounds great to me. Also sound like one of my wifes campaigns though. She
can get a little.......out there on occasion. She LOVES to keep everything
she runs on street level..........the streets of Asgard, or Olympus maybee.

Hmmm... okay... apology accepted, I guess... for the good of the list. But
you did sound like a bigot there, although I'm sure it was unintentional. ;)

Speaking of which, this is an interesting use of rhetoric that I
personally feel FASA is fairly bad at using, particularly in their
representation of SR politics. For example: Politicians are adept at using
an appeal to avoid 'personal attacks' as an attack against their opponant's
character, very little is heard of this in SR politics.

Does anyone else find SR politicians a little too easy for the common man
to read? I guess none of them (aside from Dunkelzahn) are complicated
enough to have that genuinely slimey feel you get around the real thing.
Either they're cartoon character villians, heroes, or puppets. Comments?
Disagreements? Red Herrings?

the last. Definatly the last. Depending on your take on how Dark SR is, In
general Politicians are either A) an unimportant carrear backwater cause the
Corps control everything or B) slick enough to figure out that by seeming to
be an uncomplicated, ordinary Joe, they can keep the people in the dark until
after they've knived you in the ribs.

They may seem to easy to read b/c all the info we get is from Shadowland.
The general populace is limited to the corp-controlled media outlets, so
much like today, they have no idea what's really going on in the halls of
power or what politicians really believe.

And since the only in-depth look we've gotten at them is in the form of
an adventure surrounding the campaign, we may have a slightly skewed sample.
