['scuse the wrong subject, but I accidently deleted the original message
regarding the magic fingers usage. Doh!]

IIRC, there is a spell in MitS called Use (Skill) which allows you to
use the skill at a distance of your magic in meters (very useful,
especially if you get the extended range version :). If you were to
learn this, say Use (Akido), you could grab goon, throw them, choke
them, or just plain vanilla hit 'em with out getting your hands dirty.
Kinda like Distance Strike for mages. One of my favorite spell, for
sure :)

feet and somehow figure out how to skate up the walls and across the ceiling.

Interesting idea - not what I'm after, though, but
certainly interesting. How do you determine the
strength of the grip? What's the drain code? (I don't
have MitS with me atm.)
