That is a bit more than you would expect given the storage sizes for
cd's (100MP, I think, if you are putting a hermatic library on them) and
the size needed for recording sound and motion video (given in SSC and
shadowbeat, not always the same). Maybe "comercial" recordings use
something like MP3, which raw recordings would not.
When I made a character who was into old music ('70-'90's punk rock),
I just spent a brick of cash on collectable vinyl. Can you imagine how
much a Nirvana 7" (some of which had printings of 500) will be worth in
205x? They can go for $100 today!
