I can see that. Our group currently runs with the base SR2 rule, since many
of us tended to hurt/kill people by using stun weapons/spells.

Right. It all depends whether or not you use the Vanilla rules, or the
modified-to-hell-and-back rules. When I discuss general rules questions, I use
the vanilla rules. If a person uses house rules, change accordingly. However,
there are enough people who use straight vanilla rules to warrant discussion
in this category (egads! I'm talking like Herr Doom! Ack! *grin* *pre-emptive
duck*). Also, house rules are static: i.e. no 2 use exactly the same ones.
I don't mean to sound picky. Just so everyone knows, though, I AM open to new
things. I am NOT open to munchkinism. I WILL discuss variant rules, but I tend
to presume that we're all talking about vanilla SR/SR2.
P.S. To the person who posted a thing saying that riggers can't "be the
vehicle" since it would require more than one action to control the vehicle,
please write me. I am currently working on a response, and would like to talk
with you about what you mean. I'm perplexed on that question.
Thanks.
