Now, I've seen both extremes of deckers and their cyberware. Personally, my
character has minimal cyber, just a datajack and 50 MPs memory. Zat's it!
However, a decker might buy skillwires.skillsofts. Although these are very
expensive essence and nuyen wise, you could just slot in a Decking-12 chip(spe-
cialization) and really cook through the matrix. Also, you could slot a Firear
ms-8 and actually stand a chance of hitting something in a fight.
Personally, I don't like the fact that the decker tends to have to hide behind
the Sammies. Oh well, better that than dead, eh??

DECKERS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ABLE TO FIGHT LIKE ME, ONLY IN THE MATRIX
WHERE I CAN'T SHREDD THE ENEMY (OR THIER HENCHMEN)

I'm not sure if I would grant hacking pool from a skillsoft, and as someone
said before, I wouldn't trust such a chip no matter where it comes from.

On top of this, I was under the impression that skillsofts could not
exceed a rating of 10.

Hoi, chummers!

Just recently, I was checking out the Decker Archetypes in
NAGEE 5. I noticed that there was some cyberware called a Math SPU and
an Encephalon and Headware Memory(FIFF). There was also ratings for
the Datajacks. Now, I knew that the rating system for Datajacks
existed, but I know not how it works. I have not even heard of any of
the other aforementioned cyberware, save for Headware Memory (but I
don't understand the 'FIFF'). I was hoping that someone out there in
ShadowRN land could post or mail me direct (direct would be
preferable) an explanation of this stuff. As always, thanx big time
chummers!

All this and more cyberware can be found in shadowtech.
