of Deckers after the Echo Mirage project. According to official history the
surviving Echo took the tech they used to destroy the killer virus into the
corporate world with them when they dismobbed (or disdecked??). These people
where responsible for the first generation of usable decks. Surely they
cannot have been working alone. I think the corps used brilliant young minds
unscarred by the fight against the mystery virus. I regard these people as
the next generation of deckers and the street people that got hold of the
watered down product as the third generation and intrinsically inferior
(unless corporate schooled and equipped) to the people that made the leap
between Echo Mirage and real usable interface tech.
