I am looking to start a PBEM game between Dec 27 and May 30. This game
would primarily involve deckers using the new VR2 rules. It would be
primarily a role playing game (meaning I will have the dice land exactly
the way I want to)

The game will be told as an ongoing narrative, not as a sequence of bob
does this, Sue that, and Ralph hugs a tree rules statements.

I am looking for 2-3 players ( I already have one player ) max, and will
accept people based on who's characters I think will make it the most
interesting.

For existing characters - They should be pretty good, either a veteran or
a hot new kid. A clueless newbie, while fun to run, will not do well in
this game.

For creating characters - try to make them based on the standard SR
character creation guidelines, except you can have 2 A's, 2 B's and a C.
Force points can be spent as regular Karma for anything you want to spend
it on. Max on any starting skill is 8, not 6.

I will accept 1 Otaku, IF I think you can run that character well (this
basis will be on the character history you send). Change Otaku creation
guidelines to fit the above, except allow a 10 computer skill rather than
an 8, and you can have any of the channels you want up to 6. Spend Force
Points on complex thingiemabobns( the program things) I allow Otaku to
have a second datajack hooked to offline storage for downloading stuff.
This makes it pretty easy for you to download anything you want, except
it is fairly slow compared to download to active mem in a deck.

Any cyberware, including Cybertechnology stuff is available. Beta grade
is the best you can get, sorry no Delta.

Similarly, Bioware is also available. have fun.

Submission guidelines include all of the characters statistics, a
description of the character such that i will be able to picture that
character as a real person, and can make predictions about what that
character will be like in play. An e-mail address you will have access to
from Dec 22 through May 31, and your ability to check email frequently, I
want to be able to complete at least two turns a week.

Any of these guidelines can be ignored for a sufficiently interesting
charcter however.

Also, if everyone has access to a graphical web browser, I will put
elements of the game on the web.

I will accept submissions until Dec 23, the day after my last final.

At that time I will reply to everyone who sent me a character on whetehr
or not I have chosen to accept your character. if I turn a character down
it is not neccisarily a problem with you or your charcter, just that
another meshed better with what I am trying to accomplish.

please send characters directly to me, and include "PBEM : " as the first
thing in the subject line.

Thanx,
Brian McCallister...
