Can anyone explain how you run a decker with a PC group so that either
the decker or the group dosen't spend an hour or so twiddling their
thumbs?? I've read Virtual Realities and SRI & II and am still
confused.
Thanks :)

Do the decker stuff in a seperate session, or over email.

You can, in my opinion, do one or more of the following:
-let the other players be involved in something else in the adventure
while the decker makes his run, like breaking into a building or
something. This does mean you have to switch between the two _a_lot_
-send the others out to get something to eat/drink/smoke/etc., so
they're gone for a while
-let one or two of the other players (if you only have a few) roll the
dice for the Ice (hey, that rhymes!).
