Our campaign is similar to Matt's (I think it was Matt). Deckers are NPCs
hired by the characters and run by the GM.
All of the PCs are pretty upright types (for shadowrunners). We try very
hard to go the nonlethal route whenever possible. If someone has to die,
however, we all prefer that it is an npc.

Hm. When/if I get my Matrix simulation software done, you guys want a
copy? It should have tons of toggles for those who like to control how
much control the program has. Min: the player or GM type in numbers for
all dice rolls, it becomes little more than a database record keeper.
Max: the player sits down, enters their characters needed stats (karma
pool, bod, wil, deck stats, etc) if they aren't on file... and wiz!
They're looking at the matrix in icon format. (Of course, it'll have a
graphic interface for this, but the icons might be a bit rusty to start.)

This would allow decking to be breakneck speed. When/if I get done w/it
(homework, homework homework), is this the place to announce?? *grin*
