Are there rules for deckers writing their own programs, instead of buying
them?

Yup, in 'Matrix.' As far as I know, they're in VR2.0 as well... though
to be honest I haven't opened that book in years...

(IIRC) SRII still uses the _old_ matrix rules (VR1.0) and SR3 only has
the program size table, but not the programming rules itself.

However you can find it in Matrix starting from p. 76. It's also in
VR2.0, but there is a slight differences with the most recent Matrix
book.

Just my thoughts,

Ok. Just wondering. never much got into the Matrix, so never bothered to
buy VR 1.0 or 2.0. I'll buy The Matrix, though, becuase I want all the
books for SR3.
