Yes, it could've been a book, but it would've been a big one. Remember,
there's a sourcebook-sized book for general information, plus a
black-and-blue Gamemaster Info book, which contains a few new examples of
vehicles, rules on criminal offenses, and, thankfully, specific places to
go with ideas (options) on how to build stories around those places.
The maps were kind of nice. I'm not a huge fan of 3-D political
cartography, but it's a nice once-in-a-while kind of perspective.

With additional material, Germany could've been a great boxed set. It
seems, however, that FASA is pushing to bring another major city in NA
into the SR spotlight, and Denver was a good choice. My only complaint
is that it's such a pain in the ass to move the party around the city!

I'm sure that was part of it. I really hope they don't go the T$R route
and try to make the boxed set (and now BRIEFCASE) an RPG standard.
It's a really good looking box, isn't it?
