Denver what can be said about that wonderful place. Not much good I'm
afraid.
That is just one paranoid town with all those zones and check points.
It's a really
bad place for a runner to be move to detroit or something chummer. :)

Well that pretty much sums in it IMO. I play in game set in denver and
it is not my favorite
place to set a campaign which is why I set my game in another city.
While the boxed set rules do work it can
make things less fun IMO. Certain things just can not be done without
dismantling it to make it so people can actually move around in between
the zones. Which is not the way the box set has things moving between
zones with the kinds of gear a shadowrunning team uses attracts to much
unwanted attention. I want paranoid players who are worried about silly
stuff I'll run a TL2K or aftermath campaign. The world of SR has enough
things that the runners can do. Without having to worry about obtaining
and maintaining half a dozen false sins to be able to move around the
city they live and work in. Just my 2¢ on the topic.

You live and learn. Or you don't live long.
