Just one question...

What is the Denver Sourcebook ???

I know Denver is a US city, but what does that book has of special ???

Here the book costs as much as the SR2 rulesbook, 5000$00 (five thousand escu
dos) , with each dollar costing 175$00 this makes.... hummmm.... 28.57 dollars

I've already heard that the book is as big as the SR2 rulesbook... anyone has
any info on this ??? The book will arrive to my games shop probably next week,
so i want to know more about it...

Now about another thing...

I heard that metro-goldwin-meyer (sp.?), that movies corp, bought the writes t
o make a film of Maria Mercurial SR adventure, and that they have already start
ed making the film about 2 or 3 months ago...

Anyone knows anything about this ??

Thanx in advance for any info u can give me...

Denver is a large city in the state of Colorado...I never heard of
there being a sourcebook for it, though. Sounds interesting.

Cool! I'll have to check industry magazines and rumourmills to
see if they say anything about what MGM is working on right now. Anybody
know which adventure, or if it'll stay true to Shadowrun?

Denver in the world of Shadowrun is a divided city, like Berlin used to
be. Several nations control various parts, but the whole thing has a
freewhilling atmosphere. A runners dream. It is where the Shadowland
network is based (I think this was mentioned in some Tom Dowd novel I
read) In any case, NAN 1 has a sort summary about Denver. The reason the
book is so expensive is that Denver will either supplant or complement
Seattle as the/an "official" SR city.

Now, I do not really believe you will be recieiving this book next week.
The book has not been released in the U.S. and probably will not be for
many months. I'm guessing around the time of the Gen-Con industry fair in
August. Also, the book "Fields of Fire" has yet to be released, and it was
scheduled for February. Well, maybe it has been and I have just not seen
it. I imagine the "Harlequin's Back" adventure will also be released
first, because it was advertised in a flyer last year. "Sprawl Maps" is
another product that is late, although I advise everyone to not spend
their money on this one. Apparently it is mainly for miniature play.

out real soon also. Don't know if it has shipped yet but it has been sent
to the printer..

And mine too. What could be better than a show which for-shadows events that
will not happen for two - three of our years?

also - it has way cool graphics and realistic space combat.

Sorry, as much as I love X-files, it is #2 on my favourite show list.
Babylon 5 is what space-based sci-fi should have been for all these years
and seeing it finally has won my heard. X-files, as fresh and fun as it
is, is really just revamped Project: UFO/Twilight Zone/etc. ideas with a
twist.

If course, they are VERY close in my personal ratings. As for RoboCop,
the show that I was praising in another thread, it's nice to see, but it
isn't in my top 5.

Not to start a flame war, of course. :-)

Quite Easily - It's a great show!

Besides, we don't get B-5 down here as a series, although I have seen the first
episode (on video), which was fairly good.
