Depends what you mean. Have any pc's formed them? Way back in the beginning
my players did but it quickly became a excuse for general sloppyiness. I.E.
the players always had a excuse to be just about anywhere and a couple tried
to take it a lisence to kill. However having everybody starting of working
for a agency could be a really good idea.

My detective doesn't have an Agency, but she does have an office she
used to share with her father before he disappeared. She runs the bus-
ness, has everything legal and tends to take on missing persons cases
alot.

Oh, I just wondering because Ninjas and Superspies allow the beginning
Detective to start a Detective Agency, which, they claim, can be anything
from a home office to an office in the big city (often that office is an
amalagam of the two). Since Shadowrun is noir science fiction (DARK
science fiction), then a detective having his own agency would not be out
of touch.
