After reading the section in RBB2 about deulists and security riggers, I
was wondering, as the struggle is essentially a force of will between the
two riggers, whether one or both riggers could use centering-like skills
to give them a psychological advantage in the attack. For example, Joe the
Rigger is also an accomplished chess player, and so any rigger who attacks
the system ends up in a virtual game of chess for control of the system.
Joe, being familiar with chess would get to roll his special skill in
chess, with the successes in that adding extra dice to his other tests.
(Perhaps 1 dice per 2 successes.) Of course, if the attacking rigger were
also to have a skill in chess, then he could do the same.

Special skills in various strategy games like Go or Pente, could be used
in this manner, as well as combat skills like fencing, sumo-wrestling,
most martial arts, boxing, etc.

Interesting. I don't particulary like the whole Rigger Security
System thing, but this would at least make it slightly
more interesting. I'd allow it.

Time is the best teacher. Unfortunately it kills all of its students.
