Thanks to everyone who is really helping with making me think of some
things for the Ammo Options.

My background is NOT, I repeat NOT, in structures/chemistry/etc. I am
an Electrical and Computer Engineer. The only chemistry I know is
doping silicon and electron movements. Hence, I put the rounds stuff
out for the experts to chew on. Thanks again. I just had a few basic
concepts and am glad you all are takin' the time to hash them out.
Keep it up!

Here are some clarifying points to consider.

The concept of the Dikoted Round:

Hideously Expensive. And hard to come by.

High velocity shell with an extremely hard surface that is meant to
just punch right through everything short of vehicle armor. Here are
some more thoughts: Uranium Depleted OR Tungsten Steel core for the
round. Drag Coeffecient and weight optimized to produce a terminal
velocity of about 1.5x to 2.0x fastest sniper rifle. Round is SABOT
fired, core is encased in plastic/etc. that flies apart out of the
barrel. Thus reducing etching of the barrel grouves. When it hits the
target...It just cuts right through, The only thing that stops it is
THICK vehicle armor. And it doesn't flatten out on impact, the round
keeps its shape. Thus the reduced power level. Is all this possible
now? I think it has a "fighting" chance.

Incendiary Rounds:

Rounds with "high temperature" heads, The round will actually "burn"
through some armors and burn flesh. It does not matter if it burns IN
the body. I just wanted to incorporate this idea which I have seen in
several other games into SR.

Armor Piercing Fletchette:

Someone said what I was describing WAS for Shotguns. I disagree. The
round is made to be small. The spread is designed to be less than 5
inches big at 50 yards. That is considerably less than a shotgun
spread. The fletchettes are made to penetrate armor better. Since they
don't have much weight they take the best of ballistic or impact. The
standard fletchette doubles impact.

For shotguns, I have something equally diveous in mind. HIGH damage.
And just plain RUDE. I will put it out when it is finished being
mulled about in my brain.

Thanks again. Are the above feasible for SR. I think they have a
chance, but I don't have as much experience with this stuff as some of
you do.
