Very much depends on what you mean by disability, a great many physical
disabilities can be changed in Sr, by the simple expedient of involving
cyberware, if you mean mental disabilities then that is a kettle of fish
I don't wish to get involved in. However, there are other kinds of
disabilities, just look at some of the posters here... Like myself, and
that strange Bull chap... <grin>

I was actually thinking of making my character a schizophrenic... and
have more than one personallity then roll 1d20 for how many minutes our
time he was to keep it and give the other personality social skills...
kindof like halfway thru combat he becomes a guy who abhors violence...
either that or a beserker.... :)

I hate to nitpick, but you're describing Multiple Personality Syndorme,
which is often confused with schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is usually
associated with people who supposedly hear voices, and are often violently
paranoid claimign the voices tell them to attack peole and whatnot. Either
one would work, though having schizophrenia would explain why they are
such violent characters (And if they're chromed, I'm sure they would be
even more than someone who is not cybered). Another idea is that they
might have "Night Terrors", which is like a sometimes violent version of
sleepwalking. People who have this are totally unaware of their actions
while they do this, and I've heard of people who've tried to kill other
people while they were asleep. They often act out dreams and such, and are
prone to hurt themselves while they are experienceing this. Again, people
with a lot of cyberware would be even more dangerous, especially people
with Wired Reflexes and no reflex trigger.

Shizophreinc refer to a loss of contact with reality multiple personality
disorder is completley different. I'd make sure when you put this pc
together you outline what trauma made him/her need another personality to
take over to cope with the stress.

If you have to ask then it's probably classified.
Which means that I have to follow protocol.
But if you ask nicely I might forget that you asked.
Then again maybe not.

(Which ones of mine haven't?) :)

I have a character I cometimes play who is mute. It is quite the fun,
trying to communicate with people who can't speak sign. Can't exactly
write a message during a tense moment either, body language and facial
expressions have to get Torah's message through.

In another RPG, one of my major NPC's is in a wheelchair. It's quite the
opposite of Torah, Deborah cannot portray anything with body language.
She has to be very well spoken. (Something I have trouble portraying, but
I learn. Slowly...)
