How you deal chance of disarming an opponent in melee fight?

I don't remember any rules regarding this subject in SR2...

There's the Disarming option on page 86 of Cannon Companion: it's
basically a normal melee attack that doesn't cause any damage, and if
the attacker rolls at least 1 success more than the defender, the
defender's weapon is knocked out of his hand; each additional success
throws it half a meter away. For two-handed weapons, the attacker must
achieve a number of successes equal to one-half the defender's Strength,
rounded down, to disarm him.
