This may have been mentioned before, if so I'm sorry for wasting bandwidth.

Germany, people say it consists of small states, well the question is rather
academic now that we can consult the German sourcebook. But for interest I
dug out my sourcebooks, both of them. S1 says that Germany remained strong
and one state, while Southern France, Italy et al reverted back to small city
states. S2 only has the later statement and makes no mention of Germany.

To confuse things even more the Harlequin module which came out after S1 and
before S2 suggests that Germany disintegrated into a series of small states.
Nice to know that FASA is consistent in it's histories.

Oh, has anyone else scanned 'How It Came To Be' in both S1 and S2, there's
quite a few differences if you look.

Ah while I remember, getting back to the physical adept debate I had with Jason,
over his suggested mods. I said that if a phys adept gets the combat sense
power then he cannot be suprised, not true, but he can use his combat pool
if suprised whereas anyone else gets to stand there and look silly.

Ah one more question. Which is best value for money NAN 1 or NAN 2 ?

Phill.
P.S. Christmas shopping was invented to torture the minds of engineers across
the world.

Afternoon...sort of...,

The NAN books, I believe from memory NAN 1 is the better in the sense that it
deals with the territories surrounding Seattle. The information is helpful,
giving a limited history and odd bits and pieces of culture. The adventure
is quite good but needs some tweeking

NAN two has better maps but (I think) mainly covers the North (Canada etc)
and is a bit thin in places. The adventure is well, a lead 'em around by the
nose and the end ref note is a bit of a yawn - this of course is my opinion.

Your right about the two dragons, and the history stuff, strange isn't it. Can
anyone out there tell us poor English folk why they did this ? Mass boredom in
the office one day, a mad hacker, Dr Who failed to stop a bad guy Time Lord ?
Perhaps this is proof that FASA aren't the Gods we all think they are ? :)
