This is the same thing that we here call a "Full Borg Conversion". It's
literally the maximum enhancements in attributes incurred by cyberware (old
rules) for a human, without using "muscle replacement". The skills ...
hmmm...not impossible, just improbably without knowing more. Getting that
Armor rating to be even like that is kind of tricky though. Sounds like lots
of cybernetically placed plating of some kin

Subject: House rules

I recently got into a fairly heated discussion with my players on the subject of house
rules. It turns out that all the little rules that I've accreted onto the system over the
years in an attempt to improve/personalize it are, well, unwanted. My players have been
putting up with them merely because they thought they had to, since I'm the game master.
(Now how did they get that idea, I wonder?)

Now, I know other groups have house rules. How did you get your players to like them, if
they do? If they don't, how did you get them to put up with them? Or are you like me,
living in a dream world, thinking your players are fine with your additions, when they
are, in fact, just keeping quiet and avoiding confrontation. How does your group handle
the whole concept of house rules?

I'm seriously considering going to a "plain vanilla" approach to the rules -- I

I've certainly experienced (as a player and as a GM) both extremes. I've
played and GM'd games that were purely by the book. I've played in games
which used a fraction of the original rules. I've also been guilty of
going a little :) overboard with house rules of my own.

I'm currently GMing Shadowrun, and am trying to keep the house rules to a
minimum. However, I don't balk at trying to address a rule (or rules) that
aren't meeting expectations.

If I want to change a rule, or add a rule, I present it to my players and
ask for their opinion. And, most important, I listen.

I think the limitation is poorly worded. I think the intention was 4
points higher than lowest armor rating in any one area. That section
needs revision. FASA should do a new `wares book ... oh wait ... :)

Hunter; The Reckoning.
A new game (same system) along with Vampire, Werewolf, Mage, Wraith and
Changleing
Suddenly, one day, out of the blue, a voice pops into your mind. "They're
evil" it says.
then, you notice that the guy in front of you at the 7-11 looks like a
walking corpse (thats the way you see Vampires)
the voice tells you to kill him, and suddenly you have a glowing sword in
your hand to do it with.

Either that, or you're just insane :-)
