Hello again, folks :)

I have played in SR groups before where it was entirely possible to
accidentally dodge into more damage in a firefight (and maybe in other
cases, but I'm not sure). Does anyone know how the game mechanics of this
work?

Also, how would you work out the game mechanics for figuring if someone
WANTED to take a bullet for someone else, etc? This is a good thing to
know for professional bodyguards, etc.

Thanks for your input. :)

Botching your damage resistance/dodge test?

Never used dodging, sorry.

I remeber doing that, some time back....I think we rolled the shooters
reaction against the bodyguard and vice versa (whatever's the name of that
test) and if the BG had more sucsesses, he could take the bullet. And no
combat pool for the body test.
