Subject: Does anyone actually play Otaku?
Date: Fri, 18 Jul 2003 23:27:42 +0000
Hello!

Well I mastered a game where there was two Otaku PC. But since the game was
only matrix oriented and all PC where deckers of some kind I can't help to
tell wether an Otaku is playable outside the matrix or not. I'll say that
they are not. However, on the Matrix, they are more porwerfull than a basic
decker.
But a decker with a good knowledge of matrix (like some familiarity skills),
a good cyberdeck(rating 8 to 12+) and lots of high level programs(rating 8
to 12+) with options outmatch an Otaku because the most important part for a
decker is the material (cyberdeck and programs) whereas for the otaku it's
the karma to enhance one abilities. So, it's more easier to have that kind
of material than that much of karma.
Anyway, that's my opinion, and I might not be right (I mastered only one
game and it was a year ago or so)

Thank you for reading.

Boris
