definitely don't let some screwy mage-sight make you doubt yourself. I
don't know a whole lot about magic, so I just accept what I can see. Frag,
I'm starting to ramble...Look, lassie, I want to help you. You came to me
wanting to meet, so let's meet. Tonight, at {encrypted} (let's hope this
works better than the last one, eh? :>). I won't treat you like a specimen,
I'll treat you like a person. We have a lot in common, it sounds like: we've
both got something in our heads that people really want. Let me help.]<<<<

Hey, don't get all upset because someone didn't like your spell!
Every game is different. A spell that seems downright munchkin to some
people sounds like a good idea to others. The spell you wrote sounded great,
and my PC's will be facing opposition who use something similar.
> No. I won't comment. No, I won't fight. No, I won't defend.
NONONONONONONO!!!! Don't fight, don't defend, don't comment, IGNORE. The
idea you posted is just that, an Idea. I'm going to use it, though I must
admit I'll be reworking the spell for my game, probably as a manipulation.
Remember that everyone has different standards, and don't lose heart.

Keep posting ideas. I enjoy the debates over them, and I always welcome new
ideas, even if I don't like them, or if they won't fit in my campaign.

I've tried to explain, I'm through. No more. Some people aren't willing
to understand that, yes, we live in a big mucking world! The Shadowrun
game you enjoy and love WILL BE DIFFRENT than the Shadowrun I enjoy and
love.

I've been debating if I even 'love' it anymore. I'm always being abused as
a GM (I have to stay one step ahead of the munchkins), I get abused from
the paper I write for, there's the abuse I get from the school, the stuff I
get from the lab here, the loads I recieve from the homefront, and I get
abused from here. It's not fun anymore. As a punching bag, I'm no good!

Tell these people.

There's a line in WoSaT, about writing things that may never be read and
making movies that may never be seen. Sometimes, I think it's better that
way. Nobody to tell you that your stupid, or wrong, or that you shouldn't
dabble where you don't belong.
