As I was reading Cyberpirates yesterday, I got to thinking:

The DLOH might not like immortal elves, but he sure seems to like
immortal Dragons! I hope are not out of frying pan into the fire.

...which certainly appears to be an immortal dragon itself... How
long have you been advertising that on this list now? :)

I actually prefer Dragons to those Danmed IEs (tm)... After all, Dragons
are SUPPOSED to be immortal anyway. And, altough they have many resources,
they don't rule the world. (I do! I'm the GM... :) ) .

Yeah, between them Lofwyr, Lung and Ryumyo control a big chunk of the
world, add up the other dragons' possessions and it gets kinda scary.
I agree that it is weird to tell everybody that the IEs are being
scaled down because of various reasons, and then replace them with
dragons.
<exaggerate>
I can just see loads of runners being very happy with that:
"Hey chum, they finally got rid of those pesky IE influencing our
every run!"
"Great! So did mr Johnson say who replaced them?"
"Yeah, Lung's getting the even runs and Lowfyr the odd."
"Waaaaaaahh [runner quickly running away] "Mr Ehran, mr Ehran, please
come back to us! Pretty please??!!"
</exaggerate>

To Never Deal with a Dragon gets kinda difficult if they got their
claws in everything.

That's not to say that I don't like dragons, heck Lowfyr is my all
time favourite NPC. Ruthless like Darth Vader, no chance of going
whimpy like him, no tendencies to laugh maniacally or make stupid
mistakes, and he's not mindlessly evil, just nasty. And best of all
he doesn't lose :> They should make a film with him.
