I don't have time to comment on much, but I do have time for this one thing.

APDS ammo is useless on dragons!

If you go back an carefully read your APDS rules you will realize that when
actually shooting a vehicle as opposed to shooting into a vehicle that APDS ammo
has it's power halfed as opposed to halving the vehicle armor. Thus when you
shoot a dragon (harden armor 12) with a APDS loaded LMG, he laughs!
