Having read it, well. The main character did something (read book)
and the barrier faltered, problem is we never got a 'chared corpse'
report. Certainly the barrier fell enough as a result for a lot of
laser power to get through but as to 'did it kill the dragon' well
the book implies it did but the Dragon could have say teleported out
of there in time to escape (yes it is possible for a dragon to get
that nifty trick Harlequin and Ehran use). You really have to say
'open verdict' no proof [beyond all doubt considering that was a
dragon] either way.

oh sure, why not. They hunt horrors too. I have a hard time seeing
some of the lightbearers inviting them to join. As far as that goes I
have a hard time seeing a dragon joining. I also have a hard time
seeing the imortal elves joining, or there being enough magic for them
to use there Lightbearer powers. But then who says that teleporting
is a power only avail. to lightbearers huh?

I was thinking of teleport spells. Unfortunately the only one of the
four ED teleport spells i have read is the illusionists one as all
the others are 9th circle or above and the GM does not like folks
reading the companion.

What ! ? ........

I have heard the term 'lightbearers' mentioned but know nothing about
then 'except the ino's in the ED companion.

With a name like that ones expects serious 'good guys' but having
experienced FASA and the UB well........

No... one of the Russian soldiers fired what must have been a targeting
device at the dragon, at which point the aircraft overhead opened up with
battlefield lasers. The soldier was outside the barrier, and died. The main
character was wounded, but inside the barrier, and the last thing he sees
is Alamais rising up to attack the aircraft... Sounds more like the barrier
moved than the barrier collapsed.

They're a secret society devoted to getting rid of all the Horrors,
basically. H is the last of thm, isn't he?

The teleport i was thinking of is ED spell magic. There is in ED a
teleportation spell for each of the four types of magician.
Illusonist, a doorway to doorway job, takes illusionary shortcuts but
effectively joins two places.
uses for SR.
Set up end one by riggers battlewagon,
break in , fire up end 2 , port out now empty that rack of straffing
rockets and drop spell. That should provide a nice lot of cover for
the escape, PC's back at van , rockets flying down whatever corridor
they came from,,oops BOOOOOOOOMMMMM..

Nethermancer, creates a black doorway you hop through, or throw other
things through.

I don't know any more details as the Wizard, Nethermancer and
elementalist ones are in the Companion and the GM does not want it
read.
