There are a TON of dragons in ED, and only a few have shown their scaly
heads in SR.

Effectively, I think it's safe to assume that in the 1000-2000+ years
between ED and the Down Cycle, a bunch of dragons die :] Either that, or a
lot of 'em were dug up, hunted down, and killed during the middle ages down
cycle.

I could swear I read on of the novels, maybe in the Dragonheart Saga, that
had a dragon talking to an immortal elf about that. The comment was
something to the effect of "a few of your brethren spent a lot of time
during the down-cycle hunting us down in our caves and killing us."

Can't remember where though. I'll have to look when I get home.

Lofwyr isn;t *IN* ED anywhere... <shrug>
