Didn't I hear on this list that you could only go up/down a max of 2
Bod with Shapechange? Then how do dragons (Bod 12 or so) Change into
Humans (bod 1-6)? Or am I wrong about the up/down Bod rule?

I think that Dragons are an exception to just about every rule. I am
sure that their control over magic allows them to move more than 2 on
the bod chart when shapeshifting.

I don't know about the rule, but dragons get to do whatever the frag
they want. At least, they can do lots of crap that a PC could never do.
Why? Because they're dragons. Seems pedantic and circular, but it's true.
Dragons do dragon magic, which isn't like human magic. After all, if they
can have an Essence rating up to 12, they must be different. So from a GM
standpoint, dragons can do pretty much anything, including shapechanging
themselves into the size of a mouse if they wanted.

Imagine what they could do transforming into a Woodchuck....
woooooooaaaw... hehehe hear those woodchucks roar :) Although finding a
speciman such as this would raise the average cyberwoodchucks
woodchucking count raising the whole how much wood scheme to bizzare
heights :) *sigh* aint life grand....

You're right about the rule, but it was one Tom Dowd offered in an issue
of Ka*Ge to prevent munchkinising the spell. As for dragons, they've got
access to ED-level magic, which is a lot more powerful than what has been
done in SR so far.

Or you can do what I do, and allow the caster to sacrifice successes at a rate of
2 per +-1 body change

(dragons have a LOT of dice)
