Hi all,

I would like to congratulate the teams involved for this effort. I
just bought the Matrix book, and while the price was higher than I
appreciated, I do love the fact that I can search the PDF for what I
need. In fact, when I get Tiger, Spotlight searching across multiple
books will probably be very pleasant!

I do hope that more books will come online (including the currently
available ones) so I can game solely with my laptop vice a stack of
books (I own them all -- including UB :-) ).

Thank you all!

*whimpers*

I want Tiger now.

More SR products will be online this week - and check it out, we
currently have six or seven titles on the DTRPG best sellers list! :-)

Cheers,
Adam

I echo that.

Kudos for this initiative. And thanks a lot for not DRM'ing the books
(needless to say, had they had any form of DRM, I wouldn't even have
considered buying any of them). I'm going to buy the Underworld
Sourcebook as soon as it hits Battlecorps.com (I find it's even better
without watermarks :D ), and only 8 bucks for RA:S just screams
"bargain" to me.

Now, is there any chance of Rigger 3 Revised being available in
electronic form anytime soon? I love to play riggers, the paper version
of this book just drives me crazy with its lack of index. A searchable
version would be an instance of Best Thing Ever(TM).

Is there any chance of seeing the following books
being put on as a package deal?:

Shadowrun 3rd Edition
Shadowrun Companion (3rd ed.)
Magic in the Shadows
Man & Machine
Cannon Companion
Rigger 3
Matrix
Character Dossier

This set ought to make the whole Shadowrun experience
eminently search- and playable for anyone. If a
discount can't be arranged, maybe throw in a free
sourcebook (New Seattle) if you purchase all of the
above in one go?

Would it be legal to create "The Compleat Equippement
Liste" from the text in those (+other) books and put
it up for free? I believe something like this has been
asked previously, but given the relative ease with
which one will soon be able to create such a list it
might be pertinent to see this question re-examined.
If compiling such a list would be illegal, perhaps it
(or any such "GM reference" product) would be a
worthwhile document to sell on Drivethru?

cheers,

Jan Jaap

I can actually see a pretty good demand for compilations of "old" books.
Imagine Sprawl Sites, Seattle and New Seattle all combined, properly
compiled and presented.

Or maybe it's just me :)

Never say never, but we hadn't made plans for bundling yet.

If you do not have permission to distribute content from the books [and
buying a book does not give you said permission ... they're for
personal use], then yes, it would be illegal.

There's certainly the potential to do "New" products based on
compilations of material, such as the Big Book of Charts or the Big
Book of Maps, but right now the priority is getting more backstock
online while keeping pace with production of new material.

Adam

One question I have is will people who buy the "new" books online get
free updates if an erratta is released ? Lets say that you by Mr J's
Little Black Book online. Then you guys release a new print version
with Errata. Will people who downloaded the PDF version somehow be able
to get a new version with the Errata fixes included ?

Thanks

Yes. A reprinting of a book would be cause for an update to the PDF
book, unless there were no errata changes made.

Just to double check, you say that a update would happen, but do we get
to download it for free ( assuming we have already paid for the old
version ).
