I was just doing a spot of web crawling when I discovered an interesting
series of pages on the Discovery channel web site. It is talking about
a US military sponsored program to develop a series of six inch
spyplanes which must be capable of ' "performing a useful military
mission" and flying for 20 to 60 minutes at a clip of 20 to 40 miles an
hour "at an affordable cost." Okay, reasonable enough. Now here's the
hard part: it can't be any bigger tha n 6 inches by 6 inches or weigh
more than 4 ounces'.
Given that technology in SR is so far advanced from what we have
now, there could be a whole swag of this sort of thing. They might not
be directly controllable by a rigger, but they could sure come in handy.

i saw something about that in last month's 'Popular Mechanics' as well as the
Discovery Channel. IIRC, RBB2 has something about smaller drones. IIRC, it was
a spider-shaped model used for reconnisance.
