I may be getting this totally wrong but anyway here goes....

Dual nature plants will have extra abilities that plants do not have. I am
not sure if they will be able to perceive differently or even 'see' into
the Astral space. I seem to remember that some dual nature critters can
see into the astral and I believe attack in it as well. I may be giving
the plants too much abilities. Real triffids ;-) that can spot
all those mages in astral space. Ah, the smell of burnt players.... :->

O.k., O.k., I heard references to dual-natured plants. One being to
bacteria (possibly), another to a mention in one of the source books. Can
you please provide names and reference to any of these plants?
I have in the past allowed awakened-plants, such as trees that seem to
have their own 'spiritualy awareness' (druid type trees)' but I am confused
on what
dual-natured plants would be.
Thanks in advance.....

Well there are actually no official dual plants. There are a couple in the
Drugs file floating around on the 'net though. As for what they would be,
I'd imagine they'd be the same sort of thing as a dual creature. Present on
both the astral and physical planes simultaneously. Same stats on both (as
if that really matters with plants). Awakened plants do exist though, they
are in several locations (I can do a seacrh and try to find references if
you like).

All dual-natured beasties can look into the astral plane. As for plants,
when did plants develop senses other than that for light (plants move toward
the sun) or hairs which trigger a reaction when touched (as in the Venus
fly-trap -- touch the hairs and the leaves close)?

FASA didn't release any dual-natured plants. I suggest you ftp to teetot (if
it lets you in) and get the Drugs In Shadowrun file, which has some awakened
plants.
