I was hoping to create a physad with a stick fighting and balisong fighting
bent. Using 2 escrima (rattan) sticks requires either the edge of
ambidexterity or a skill in off-hand(weapon).

The question is if I take Clubs (rattan sticks) as the primary weapon, is
the offhand skill Offhand(clubs) a specialization or is it a base skill
which i could then choose offhand clubs(rattan sticks) as a specialization?

Help...

Thanks

Second option. There is an offhand skill per melee weapon skill:
you need to learn the Offhand Clubs skill, with the Rattan Sticks
specialization.
But I wouldn't recommend this. Offhand skills are far too
expensive compared to the bonuses they give you (don't forget you roll
Skill + (Offhand Skill/2) dice). If I were you I would take the Ambidextry
edge at lv. 3 or 4. With this one you roll Skill * 1.5 dice, not to mention
that it also reduces (or negates, at lv. 4) the modifiers for using akimbo
firearms.
