My group somehow organized a plasma bomb for their Mr. J. The rigger =

to open it to draw a plan so he can build his own one.

I (as the GM): Roll Gunnery B/R against 10 to open it! And oh, you are =

damged. That´s a nice 12.

Rigger: Uh, I don´t have the B/R skill, I´ll default

I: That´s a 14 then

Guess wht he had: a 13! In my endless mercy and goodness I decided:

I: You recognize that it won´t be a good idea to open the bomb.

really stupid rigger: I´ll try again.

This is slightly old (about 3 years ago), but we were 6 PCs (2 Street =
Sams, 1 Hermetic Mage, 1 Hermetic Adept, 1 Decker, 1 Physical Adept) =
doing a run in some module called Imago. We had to go to Scotland =
without most of our heavy gear. Now all the characters have been around =
for some 25++ runs (my Hermetic Adept was the second oldest character at =
39 runs). The previous games we had been going around in really =
top-of-the-line cars and grade a bang-bangs and armor. Then all of a =
sudden, we were on our way to Scotland and we had SQUAT. So we contact =
the black market and get new grade A bang-bangs when we found out that =
we didn't have enough money to get a vehicle. It was pretty far to Loch =
Ness so we went to a "Rent-a-bike" company and found out that we had =
exactly the amount to rent 6 bicycles.

How humiliating, Super-Chromed Street Samurais On Bicycles. Heh ... or =
Physical Adept (Grade 4 Initiate w/ Katana Weapon Foci 2) on a Unicycle. =
Hey what am I laughing about, I must have looked as dumb as the rest of =
them.
