Okay, this one is a short, but it is definitely worth the effort....

In the game we had Sunday, our "mentalist" (and ourselves) was running around
within the containment zone when some bugs got awakened very close to a group
of normal, zoney, residents. Well, as the party was trying to recoup itself,
the mentalist (seeing the bugs about to catch up to them all) decided to try
and "help everyone out" a bit.

He immediately went for "Mob Mood", target effect..."Hope *against* the
Bugs".
Next thing we all knew, he had more than half the crowd suddenly veering
around, preparing to attack the pressing Wasp Spirits.

Please note, I said normal types, with minimal weapons and fewer magic.

You can imagine the chaos that ensued just after that ... I'm sure...

Here's one of mine:
In our game, our resident "mentalist" was playing a mage. He was astrally
projecting, and scoping out the house we were supposed to break into. Well, when
he got near there, he saw three BIG elementals and two astrally projecting mages
guarding the house. He conjured up 6 Force 4 Watcher spirits (His dice REALLY
liked him that night) and ordered them to attack any astral presence. When we all
looked at him incredulously, he quickly added "that isn't me." Our resident
munchkin (playing an Elven phys-ad, of course) looked at him and asked if he was
an idiot. I was just dumbstruck. Our GM, laughing hysterically, told him that the
elementals and two mages were still coming towards him. He then said that the 6
Watcher spirits began to attack EACH OTHER and were proceeding nicely to tear each
other limb from limb.
Our mentalist sat there for a few seconds, until the GM said that one of the mages
hit him with a Force 4 Mana Missile. He resisted the drain, and then ATTACKED one
of the elementals.
Needless to say, it took him a few rounds (and a serious wound) to realize that he
should RUN. So he did. All the way around the world. You can just guess where he
ended up.
At this point, I picked up his character sheet, and played the character out of
the mess. My dice liked me too that night.
